Terms of Service

Effective October 5, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Taskr.dev for using www.taskr.dev, its apps, its API and its MCP server (together, "Taskr.dev"). By using Taskr.dev you agree to them. If you use it for an organization, you agree to them for that organization too, and you confirm you're allowed to. Questions go to support@taskr.dev.

Your account

  • You sign in with Google, Microsoft, Apple or GitHub. Keep that account secure: whoever can sign in to it can sign in to Taskr.dev as you.
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what agent tokens and AI apps you connect do on your behalf.
  • You must be at least 13 to use Taskr.dev.

Your content

Your tasks, comments and everything else you put into Taskr.dev are yours. You give Taskr.dev permission to store, process and show them as needed to run the service: for example, to show an organization's tasks to its members, to search them, and to send them to an AI app you've connected when it asks. We don't sell your content or use it for advertising. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Organizations

  • Members of an organization can see and reorder each other's tasks in it. Admins can invite and remove members, rename the organization, manage its billing and delete it.
  • Tasks in an organization belong with the organization: if you leave or are removed, your tasks in it stay and are handed to an admin.

Prices and payment

  • Using Taskr.dev on your own, in Personal, is free.
  • Each organization starts with a 90-day free trial. After it, an organization pays $3 a month for each of its first 50 members and $7 for each member after that, billed on the 1st of each month for the members it has that day. Agent tokens and connected AI apps are free. Prices are on the Features & Pricing page; we'll give admins notice before they change.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe, which sells the subscription as merchant of record and works out and collects sales tax, VAT or GST where they apply. Stripe's terms apply to your payment.
  • If an organization's bill goes unpaid, it becomes read-only until it's paid: its tasks can still be read, but not created or changed. Nothing is deleted for non-payment.
  • Deleting an organization cancels its subscription. If you think you've been charged by mistake, email support@taskr.dev.
  • Organizations on a separate written agreement with Taskr.dev are billed under that agreement instead.

Agent tokens and AI apps

An agent token, or an AI app you connect (such as Claude or ChatGPT), acts as you in the one organization, or Personal, you chose for it, until you revoke the token or disconnect the app. What it reads from Taskr.dev goes to that app and its provider, whose own terms and privacy policy cover what they do with it. Taskr.dev limits how many requests apps and tokens can make, to keep the service working for everyone.

Acceptable use

Don't use Taskr.dev to break the law or to harm others. Don't try to get into accounts or data that aren't yours, get around Taskr.dev's security or limits, disrupt or overload the service, put malware into it, or resell access to it without our agreement.

Changes and availability

We keep improving Taskr.dev, so features may change. We work to keep it running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Ending

You can stop using Taskr.dev and delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.

Disclaimers and liability

Taskr.dev is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, Taskr.dev isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, and its total liability for any claim about Taskr.dev is limited to the greater of what you paid Taskr.dev in the 12 months before the claim and $100. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and let you know on the site if the change is significant. Continuing to use Taskr.dev after a change means you accept the new terms.
